Pink Pantyhose

Good Morning! Buenos Dias! . I'm taking spanish lessons at Las Lilas Mini School for about a month already. I saw my Madre (Mummy in spanish) wearing a silky and soft-to-touch sock thingy. I asked my Madre "What is this?" (Que es esto?) My Madre replied that it's called a pantyhose. I asked Madre why don't she wear a black pantyhose. My Madre asked in return, "Why do you think I should wear a black pantyhouse?" I answered "Beacause you have black shoes. I'll want to wear pink pantyhose when I grow up because they will be matching for my pink shoes (zapatos in spanish)". My Madre said "Wow, matching". That was all she could said.

School Holidays

Today is the first day of March school holidays. Well, I'm still thinking of my school, teachers and friends. Here's some photos to show you my current school. Yeah, I'm no longer going to pre-nursery at MMI. I'm now attending nursery at Chinese Kindergarten and I take the school bus every day. I like CK because there's computer lesson every Tuesday and gymnastics every Wednesday.

How do I look in my school uniform? Taken on 3 Jan 2006, my first day of school at CK.

Great Discovery - How Did Dinosaurs Become Extinct?

This morning, I was playing with my latest Hello Kitty toy (came with the Happy Meal that I ate with my Daddy, Mummy, Gong-Gong and Po-Po on last Sunday morning). Then I said to my Mummy, "Look, Mummy, Hello Kitty has no mouth! So funny, right?". My Mummy looked at me and replied, " Wow! Denise, you are right. Hello Kitty has no mouth and you have made that discovery." I went on to ask Mummy why Hello Kitty has no mouth (this is my tactic to delay Mummy going to work and to spend more time with me) and lots of other questions. My Mummy asked me whether I want to be an explorer when I grow up so that I can make more discoveries. There was this question that I used to ask her,"Why Dinosaurs are extinct?". Today, my Mummy asked me the same question. To my Mummy's surprise, I said "Dinosaurs became extinct because a bee sting (rhymes with extinct, right? well, a little) it and the dinosaur died". :) She said, "How can a small bee kill a big dinosaur?" My reply was "Many bees sting the dinosaur." Then both Mummy and me broke into laughters.

I learn an interesting animal today - IIama

Today, my mummy and I spent the afternoon doing "magic colouring" on the Crayola Color Wonder Baby Animals Learning Book and I learnt about an interesting animal and a new word too. I learnt about an animal called a llama and it spits (yucks) when it gets upset. Interesting, right? Do you know what is a llama? According to the Cambridge dictionary, a llama is "a large South American animal with a long neck and long hair, and which is often kept for its meat, milk, fur and to carry heavy loads." My mummy helped me to surf the net and here's the link if you want to learn more about this animal - http://www.honoluluzoo.org/llama.htm. This page says,"When angry or attacked, the llama spits bad-smelling saliva at its perceived "enemy". Also, do you know what is a baby llama called? The answer will be revealed later. Hehe! My mummy remembered that I have some baby pictures that reminded her of a llama.

Hmmm... I must have been provoked by my Daddy's kisses!

The answer is "A baby llama is called a cria".

Lovely Gift

My mummy's colleague when she's working at OUB made this lovely gift. Thank you, Aunty Melissa. Sad sad though mummy said she has lost your contact.

When I'm a baby

Firstly, I want to introduce my happy self and my parents who love me dearly. What would be a better way to introduce then to post some of my baby pictures. See my first toy, a pulley rabbit, whom my Daddy has named "Bun-Bun". There is a string and when you pull it, Bun-Bun will sing a tune. I hear it all the time when I'm in Mummy's tummy. My thoughtful parents brought Bun-Bun to Singapore General Hospital to sing to me when I'm born. The first word I heard my parents called me is "Baobei".

My Daddy always tells his friends I'm "Daddy's girl". Look at how I always manage to make him smile and laugh. Seems that I have already mastered the art of manupulation while in Mummy's tummy. Hehe!

Need more proof? These are taken when I'm 5 months old.

Yippie!

I have my own blog now....

My mummy loves my cousin Antanas's blog a lot, so she asked my Aunty(Yi-Yi) to start one for me too. Now I can write and publish too.
